3 Colors, 30 Artists, 2 Mini-Solos

Trichromacy for the win! Treat your rods and cones to the reds, yellows, and blues that make up our world of color.

Come visit the newest exhibit "Primary Colors" at the FSVAA Gallery in Solano Town Center. Showing now through May 15, Wednesdays through Sundays 11:00am to 6:00pm.

The exhibit also features two mini-solo shows.

Artist C.J. Thompson presents Mythic Journeys Beyond Midnight, a series of encaustic montage works exploring myths and universal symbolism both historically and in the twenty-first century in a mini-solo show within the exhibit.

Artist Janet Manalo and poet Suzanne Bruce present Ekphrastic Expressions: Art and Poetry performing as Duets in a mini-solo show within the exhibit. The collaboration combines her visions (Manalo’s mixed media works) and her voices (Bruce’s poetry) addressing urgent topics which impact everyone, be it empowerment,

conflict, trauma, or global politics.

An art and poetry chat event will be presented Sunday, April 24, 3:00 - 5:00pm where Manalo and Bruce’s book will be offered for sale. The event is free and open to the public.

An artists reception will be held Thursday, April 14, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, featuring appetizers and patrons can meet the artists and hear them speak about their work. This event is free and open to the public. Come dressed in your favorite color!
