Have you ever been fascinated by Koi fish for their beautiful colors and graceful play?
Join Misuk to paint Koi fish;
they are the symbol of prosperity, longevity, courage and good fortunes in Asian countries
especially in Japan.
This two-hour lesson will be a learning and fun experience for
beginners and non-beginners alike. Misuk will demonstrate the basics of
traditional watercolor painting using a wet in wet technique.
The class will paint from the same reference she will demonstrate, and you will go home with a completed Koi fish (by the way Koi is an expensive fish!) in a double-matted mat frame. Students will each be provided a copy of the reference photo and a sketch of the image on a watercolor paper, as well as the painting supplies.
